says the airport security official suspiciously
I said, "Look man, I swear it's me."
Handed him a drivers license and a student ID
He said, "Well, you've certainly lost a lot of weight..."
Then he continued to elaborate
"Maybe you're just tired...definitely less tan...
Well, go on ahead."
"Gee, thanks man."

"Hello?" my mom says from the other end
"Hey, it's me, how you been?
"Who?"
"Ma, it's me, Tim."
"Jesus, sweetie, you been smokin again?"

I had a gig here last night with this here guitar
It's a seven kilometer walk home from the bar
3 ks in I look longingly at a taxi
When I was young I used to dream about being
in a kick ass band
Doin stage dives on the raised hands of all of my fans
These days, I don't think that my sister could catch me
